ABOUT.
Hi! My name is Lucy Annis, I'm a Graphic Designer who specialises in illustrative typefaces, Digital Collage, and print-based design. I am a firm believer in anything having the potential to be utilised within my work, I try my hardest to utilise what i find within my surroundings and looking at the finer details to create visually unique and interesting design, whether this be a ripped off sticker on a lampost or using some mincemeat with PVA glue and red food colouring to create a Font! I believe that my vivid imagination aongside my resourcefulness and problem solving skills have been a strong asset when approaching a brief, i love to tackle a challenge in my own creative way!
I Recently Graduated from Leeds Arts University With Upper second Class honours in Graphic Design. Since my graduation I have been working on some commisions as a Freelance Designer. I am currently looking to gain further experience working in as many various design capacities as possible in order to broaden my skillset. I am especially interested in Design relating to sport and music. The majority of my projects that I undertake seem to reflect my interest in showcasing an aspect of culture visually, and informing and educating my audience on a topic they may have had no previous knowledge on in the most interesting and engaging way possible! I believe that when done correctly design should always be playful whilst remaining functional and user friendly and I aim to achieve this goal to a better standard with every project I undertake!
